Welcome to Bulk URL Checker. By accessing or using our service, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account or using Bulk URL Checker, you agree to these Terms of Service, our Privacy Policy, and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree, you may not use our service.
2. Description of Service
Bulk URL Checker is a cloud-based service that allows you to:
- Check HTTP status codes for large batches of URLs
- Monitor URL health over time with scheduled checks
- Access comprehensive reports with status codes, redirects, and response times
- Manage URL checking through a web-based dashboard
- Export results in CSV or JSON format
3. Account Registration
To use our service, you must:
- Be at least 18 years old
- Provide accurate and complete registration information
- Maintain the security of your account credentials
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
- Be responsible for all activities under your account
4. Acceptable Use
You agree to use our service only for lawful purposes. You may NOT:
- Use the service to check URLs you don't have permission to access
- Attempt to overload, hack, or disrupt our infrastructure
- Use the service for any illegal or fraudulent activity
- Share your account credentials with others
- Reverse engineer or attempt to extract our source code
- Resell or redistribute our service without permission
- Use the service to violate others' privacy or intellectual property rights
5. Subscription Plans and Pricing
Plans: Our service is offered through the following subscription plans:
- Free: 1,000 URL checks per month - $0
- Hobby: 10,000 URL checks per month - $14.99/month
- Starter: 50,000 URL checks per month - $39.99/month
- Professional: 150,000 URL checks per month - $99.99/month
- Enterprise: 500,000 URL checks per month - $199.99/month
All prices are in USD and billed monthly. Payment processing is handled securely through Stripe.
6. Billing Cycle and Anniversary Billing
Anniversary Billing: Your billing cycle starts on the day you subscribe and renews monthly on the same date (your "anniversary date").
- Example: If you subscribe on the 22nd of the month, your subscription will renew on the 22nd of each subsequent month
- Your monthly usage quota resets to zero on your billing cycle date
- Your billing cycle date remains consistent unless you cancel and restart your subscription
Automatic Billing: You authorize us to charge your payment method automatically each month on your anniversary date. All subscriptions are billed monthly in advance.
7. Plan Changes - Upgrades and Downgrades
Upgrades (Immediate Effect):
- Take effect immediately upon confirmation
- You will be charged the full price of the new plan (no proration or refund for the previous plan)
- You keep any unused quota from your previous plan AND receive the full quota of your new plan
- Example: If you have 45,000 URLs remaining on Starter and upgrade to Professional, you will have 45,000 + 150,000 = 195,000 URLs available for the remainder of your current billing cycle
- Your quota will reset to the standard plan limit (150,000 in the example) on your next billing date
Downgrades (Scheduled for End of Period):
- Are scheduled for the end of your current billing period
- You keep your current plan and quota until your billing period ends (no refund provided)
- The new (lower) plan starts on your next billing date
- Example: If you downgrade from Professional to Starter on Day 10 of your billing cycle, you will remain on Professional until Day 31 (end of cycle), then switch to Starter on your next billing date
No Proration Policy: We do not provide prorated charges or refunds when you change plans. Upgrades are charged in full immediately, and downgrades provide continued access to your current plan until the end of your paid period.
8. Cancellations and Refunds
Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time through the Stripe Customer Portal accessible from your account dashboard.
- Access to your paid plan continues until the end of your current billing period
- Your account automatically downgrades to the Free plan after your paid period ends
- You retain access to export your data until the end of your paid period
No Refunds: We do not provide refunds for unused time or unused quota. All sales are final. If you cancel, you will not be charged for subsequent months, but you will not receive a refund for the current billing period.
9. Failed Payments
If a payment fails:
- Stripe will automatically retry the payment 3 times over a 2-week period
- You will receive email notifications about failed payment attempts
- If all retry attempts fail, your account will automatically downgrade to the Free plan
- You can update your payment method at any time through the Stripe Customer Portal
10. Usage Limits and Fair Use
Your plan includes a specific number of URL checks per month:
- Usage resets to 0 on your billing cycle date (not the calendar month)
- You cannot exceed your monthly limit - you must upgrade to continue checking URLs
- Excess usage is not allowed - the system will prevent checks once you reach your limit
- Unused quota does not roll over to the next billing cycle
- Quota is per billing cycle, not cumulative
If you consistently need more checks than your plan allows, we recommend upgrading to a higher tier.
11. Data Retention
Report data is retained for 30 days across all plans. After the retention period, data is automatically deleted. You can export your data at any time before deletion.
12. Service Availability
We strive for high availability but cannot guarantee uninterrupted service. We are not liable for:
- Scheduled maintenance or updates
- Service interruptions beyond our control
- Third-party infrastructure failures
- Network connectivity issues
13. Intellectual Property
All content, features, and functionality of Bulk URL Checker are owned by us and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our permission.
14. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- We provide the service "as is" without warranties of any kind
- We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
- Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid in the past 12 months
- We are not responsible for the accuracy of URL check results or decisions you make based on them
15. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the service, violation of these terms, or infringement of any rights.
16. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account if you:
- Violate these Terms of Service
- Fail to pay subscription fees
- Use the service in a way that harms us or other users
- Engage in fraudulent activity
Upon termination, you lose access to your data. We recommend exporting important data regularly.
17. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms of Service at any time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or through the service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
18. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where our company is registered, without regard to conflict of law principles.
